What about this stupid heavy tank HQ, it is like the British truck in CoH 1 would have gotten a Bofors on its f u c k i n g roof. OKW Commander: Elite Armor Doctrine Use superior equipment and experienced crewmen to augment your armored forces. The enemy controlled just 1 Fuel point and still he had Stuka before we could even field one single T34, furthermore stuka deals way too much damaga in CoH2, in CoH 1 it scattered more and you needed at least 2 of them to deal serious damage, but now it is just devastating.Ībout infantry combat, all soviet Units are total lowbobs vs German Units, starts with Pioneers, goes over Guards until Shocks, not to mention the nearly useless Maxim and the nerfed Mortar. I think it ruins the balance that OKW can start with Pgren like Pioneers,Stuka seems to be much too cheap for the damage it does, infantry is absoluty superior. The idea is you don't need to kill the heavy tank, just shoo it away and take the field with arty and superior allied line infantry. ![]() In late game teamgames, allied players typically have or try to have a composition of around 2 'artillery', 2+ tank destroyers, and 4 infantry. Also if there getting vision from planes. Play an axis heavy tank doctrine and see how they counter you. Pair them up with a vetted M20, T-70, or Stealth British sniper you can out play them. The tank destroyers on the Allied side (SU-85, Jackson, and Firefly have great range. Im an old CoH Veteran I wasted more than 1000 hours on this game and now I am quiet disappointed, just had a match, 3 Sov vs 3 OKW and it seems like Soviets have nothing against the superior OKW. ago You gotta try and poke them from range. ![]()
